Abstract: The motivations behind this paper are to present the advantages and disadvantages of the User-Generated Internet, and the process of accompanying an art piece that proposes the same message. Both are an attempt at bringing social awareness to the issues of a user-controlled virtual environment. Within the space of the screen, I celebrate the idea of having our reflections and our ideas shown in the democratic world of the Internet, yet I argue that there is a narcissistic means behind this evolution.
